boohoo.
i have waste my time all days
sitting on the sofa
becoming a couch potato
it's so unbecoming of me
but who is to define what is "unbecoming"?
social norms?
i doubt so.
it is more like a pressure asserted on everyone by religion and tradition.
i tried to confide.
i failed,
apparently.
'cos i didn't manage to do what i set out to do.
it took lots of courage to try bringing up that issue,
i don't know if you might read this and start going,
"Oh My GOD, is he..."
i don't know anything in fact.
i'm just plain dumb
"yes, i am" in anyway you might think.
i guess there isn't any better way to convey my message.
suggest to me if you thought of any...
i decided to take up Greek.
Self learning a language is always tough.
luckily i came across a pretty good link with all resources up,
though its pretty much more applicable for the New Testaments Greek
(some kinda Bible i guess)
let me flaunt some of my skills,
all lay nested in my absurdly "imperfect" body.
i can speak a couple of languages:
English and Mandarin as starters.
Japanese as 3rd Language.
Turkish as a competition language in 2008 (not anymore)
I'm currently trying Greek.
and on friends' suggestions,
i might try Hebrew, after Greek.
Definitely worth a try in understanding the bible...
don't be afraid if i start spouting Turkish or Greek in front of any of you.
it might be that i'm scolding you.
oh, it would definitely be that case.
i wouldn't try Japanese, English or Mandarin; vulgarities in those languages are more commonly spotted.
to whoever who read this,
more specifically if you feel that i'm referring to you,
yes,
you are right; I'm one.
try MSN-ing me if you wanna clarify
keep cool,
'm not interested in you.
hope the friends part remain true.
meanwhile,
the geek is gonna go back to Greek.
he is after all,
who he is.
